Audi has assembled the last example of the R8 supercar. The model was planned to be discontinued last year, but due to increased demand, the life cycle was extended until March of this year. At the moment, nothing is known about the successor of the R8

The last example is the Audi R8 Performance Quattro Edition in a yellow body color called Vegas. The car received a carbon aerodynamic body kit and 20-inch alloy wheels. The 5.2-liter V10, which also went to the Lamborghini Huracan, will also soon be discontinued.

The best sales year for the R8 was 2008, when 5,016 units were sold, including the Coupe and Spyder versions. The fewest sales were recorded in 2022 (1,068 cars), apparently because the company announced the imminent departure of the R8 from the market. However, their words influenced potential buyers, which created a sharp demand for the model in 2023 (1,591 units were sold).
